1. Vizex Visibility Controls

Greater control over data presentation

A new improvement in Vizex allows users to show or hide elements from the legend by Colour, Hatch, Symbol, or Line Style. This interactive approach streamlines data visualization and makes it easier to focus on the data that matters most. Now users can selectively display the relevant data without unnecessary distractions, improving focus and clarity.

This added flexibility allows users to tailor their workspace and only view the most critical data at any given time, leading to faster, more efficient workflows.

Availability: For Explorers, for Geology Modellers, For Resource Modellers, For Grade Controllers, For Team Viewers

2. Pick Files, Wireframes or Drillhole Database Files from Vizex

Streamlined file selection directly from Vizex

A new "Pick from Vizex" button has been added to the Wireframe Name and File Name boxes across most forms. This allows users to click on a layer in Vizex and automatically populate the form with the correct file name or wireframe, eliminating the need to search manually through file explorers.

By simplifying the file selection process, this enhancement makes workflows more interactive and efficient, saving time and reducing the likelihood of errors when selecting files for processing.

Availability: For Explorers, for Geology Modellers, For Resource Modellers, For Grade Controllers, For Team Viewers

3. New Search Neighbourhood Analysis Tool

Refine your search parameters with greater precision

The new Search Neighbourhood Analysis tool allows geologists to click on a block in a block model to view the search ellipse, the samples used, and the estimation weights applied. This provides an intuitive way to validate and interrogate existing estimates, helping users understand how the model was constructed and identify any unexpected behaviour.

In addition, users can interactively modify search criteria to explore how changes would impact the estimate, making it a useful tool for refining parameters before running a new estimate.

By supporting both validation of completed estimates and optional fine-tuning for future ones, this tool helps geologists gain confidence in their models and make data-driven decisions with clarity.

Availability: For Resource Modellers (Subscription Only)

4. New Soft Boundary Options in Grade Estimator

Streamlined boundary definition for faster estimates

New soft boundary options have been added to the Grade Estimator, enabling users to specify a distance from wireframes at which to use samples outside the wireframe for domain estimation. This improvement eliminates the need to calculate the distance to each wireframe manually, speeding up the estimate setup process.

This enhancement simplifies the workflow and helps to generate estimates more efficiently, especially when working with complex domain boundaries.

Availability: For Resource Modellers (Subscription Only)

5. New Drillhole Tracker Tool

Easily track deviations in drillhole trajectories

The new Drillhole Tracker tool allows you to compare the trajectory of a planned drillhole to an ongoing drillhole. The tool shows the deviation distance and provides wireframe options to visualize distances between pierce points.

Geologists can now track drillhole trajectories in real time, ensuring that deviations stay within acceptable limits. This tool simplifies the communication of this data to drillers and stakeholders, improving accuracy and decision-making.

Availability: For Explorers (Subscription Only)

6. Auto Load in Vizex Options in Create/Edit Drillhole Database

Faster visualization of drillhole data

The Create and Edit Drillhole Database tools have been enhanced with auto-load options, which automatically display drillhole data when creating or modifying a drillhole database. Geologists can also drag and drop the DHDB file into Vizex for immediate visualization.

This feature reduces the time spent setting up the drillhole database and viewing the data in Vizex, making it easier to visualize drillhole data quickly and efficiently, especially for new users.

3. Pit Design Improvements

The Beyond 26 Beta introduces several powerful pit design enhancements that provide users with more control, flexibility, and precision. With new options for defining pit limits, fine-tuning ramp designs and others, users can streamline workflows, improve compliance, and reduce manual edits in complex geotechnical environments.

  • Pit Limit Constraints
Set pit boundaries that automatically contour pit limit or exclusion zones. To prevent overshooting design limits and eliminate the need for costly redesigns.

  • Fillet Options Added to Polyline and Polygon Zones
Apply fillet options to polyline and polygon zones for smoother, more accurate transitions in complex pit boundaries, enhancing overall design quality and precision.

  • Slot Ramp Calculation Method
Ensure compliance with precise gradient calculations for slot ramps. This eliminates the need for post-processing, providing accurate ramp designs that meet safety and operational standards.

  • Pit Evaluation Tool
Compare multiple pit designs and evaluate the best solution with detailed reports and wireframes, including dilution and losses. This helps you make informed, data-driven decisions about the most efficient design.

Availability: For Mine Designers, For Mine Planners

4. Scheduling Improvements

Automate and organize schedule attributes while leveraging multithreading to speed up workflow. These enhancements reduce manual effort and help schedulers create accurate, efficient plans with greater confidence.

  • Automations of Schedule Attributes
Automate the mapping and organization of schedule attributes, reducing input errors and accelerating project setup for faster, more efficient scheduling.

  • Hierarchical Organization of Schedule Attributes
Automate the categorization and mapping of schedule attributes, ensuring consistency and saving time by eliminating manual organization.

  • Multithreading Expansion to Scheduler Features
Take advantage of faster processing times with multithreading support, reducing the waiting period for complex scheduling tasks. This enhancement improves productivity and enables users to work more efficiently when preparing schedules.
