Getting the Guanajuato Silver Team on Board
Micromine was able to quickly organize training sessions with over 50 users, including one week of in-person training in Guanajuato, Mexico, and one week of online training using their actual resource data. The in-person training was led by two Spanish-speaking Micromine experts with geology and engineering backgrounds. The training was divided into sessions and the Guanajuato Silver team was able to choose which sessions they wanted to attend based on their current job function as well as future career goals. Training topics ranged from introduction to the basics to 2D and 3D modeling to advanced topics like resource estimation.

As a next step, Guanajuato Silver and Micromine are looking to the future of geology and mine software training by collaborating on a program to help mining students in the Guanajuato region to develop the technical skills required for their future careers.
